BRS Architects was the designer of the original Boondocks Amusement Park, we completed a major addition when it was purchased by Wahooz Family Fun Center and we’re currently working on another addition to include 24 lanes of bowling, additional restrooms and a bar with several other future phases already master planned.

Over the different phases of design we have dealt with a number of unique challenges, from modifying the miniature golf course design to meet ADA requirements to city approvals for visual impacts and water usage, incorporating new building additions seamlessly with the existing structures to master planning the various entertainment elements to work with the terrain and flow of circulation and from designing and documenting the construction of the unique free-form organic shapes to specifying materials that will stand the impacts of the highly abusive uses.

Through our proactive approach to managing the design team and by bringing in specialized consultants where necessary we have been able to successfully complete multiple phases of design and documentation for the complex mix of uses such as; bumper boats, go cart tracks, batting cages, laser tag, miniature golf, restaurant and video arcade.
