LEGACY FEED AND FUEL
retail | nampa, idaho
This project located just off Highway 45, has a gas fuel station, diesel fuel station, and a combined 6,680 square foot Convenience Store and 14,056 square foot Farm Supply Store.
The site design had several challenges. The existing entrance to the site had to be widened and a second entrance was added to provide easy access for trucks, passenger vehicles, and delivery vehicles. A well was located in the northwest corner of the site and irrigation connected to the pressurized irrigation system. All storm water had to be retained on site.
The goal for this second Legacy Feed and Fuel was to be a one-stop shop for customers seeking everything from fuel to a new grill to a tune-up on their lawnmower. A Pre-Engineered Metal Building was utilized to create a modern agricultural design that incorporates metal, glass and wood. The metal panel exterior went through various iterations to find the right combination of exterior finishes and colors to match the uses of the interior spaces. Ultimately, horizontal metal panels and vertical wood patterned panels were selected.
