healthcare | boise, idaho
The Humphreys Diabetes Center was built in 1998 to treat and educate people with diabetes. A joint venture of St.Alphonsus Regional Medical Center and St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center, the building needed to create an environment conducive to healing and education, while accommodating future growth. Because of the downtown location the design had to comply with the added code requirements of the Boise Urban Street Plan.
he street front solution by BRS Architects was carefully sited to provide easy access to a client base with many differently abled individuals. Our growth potential analysis was integrated to produce a versatile building that can readily expand when the need arises. By creating a warm and comfortable interior the Center has an environment that promotes healing.
