This project included removing the existing air conditioning system, associated electrical items, air ducts, and architectural items. The new air conditioning system included air conditioning equipment, air ducts, electrical power, concrete pads, and all required appurtenances for a fully functioning system. Temporary air conditioning was also designed and provided for all occupied spaces. This project also included modifying the condensate drains, disconnecting existing condensate from building drain and providing a new drywell, replacement of interior mechanical room wall and door and interior and exterior architectural work necessary to install the new air conditioning system and repair the building back to pre-installation condition.

While the project was not required to be LEED® Certified the project RFP did require design and documentation to meet the following credits:

  • MR-6 & MR-7 Renewable Products

  • EQ-7.1 Thermal Comfort
