FORK + ALAVITA

restaurant | boise idaho

Located in a historic building in downtown Boise at 199 N. 8th Street, Fork was a realization to owners Cameron & Amanda Lumsden that local to local was possible. After the success of Fork, they decided to expand their restaurant presence in downtown Boise with Alavita, an Italian restaurant with a twist of the North West.

The projects consisted primarily of interior design spaces, as well as minor exterior facade treatments. Working along side Mitch Thompson with Thompson Interior Associates, the first floor as well as the basement were transformed to create these unique dining experiences. Many of the interior furnishings came from local craftsmen as well.

By taking the visions of both design firms and modeling the spaces in 3D computer programs, the spaces were able to be brought to life for the city’s approval as well as the owners approval.
