Arid Club

The Arid Club is a 15,000 square foot private social networking club with a full service restaurant, bar, two lounges, conference rooms, card room, TV room and toilet/shower facilities. Designed to be warm and inviting on the interior but private and secluded from the outside, the building is surrounded by low stone walls that give a sense of privacy and exclusivity while still feeling open. The use of thick, heavy gables gives a feel of importance while building them out of wood gives them a warm and familiar touch. Windows are kept to a minimum on the public side of the building to protect the privacy of the members while the building opens up to the spectacular views of the Boise River behind. The Arid Club continues to be the most exclusive social club in Boise and its continued membership can be contributed, in part, to the success of the building design.
