About us Smoky Mountain Pizza

Smoky Mountain Pizza & Pasta is a dynamic, casual Italian restaurant concept dedicated to its’ customers and their dining experience. The owner/developers of this Idaho family based business wanted an exciting new look for their new pizza restaurant in Nampa, Idaho. BRS took the owners vision and created a colorful and highly textured building that utilizes stone pillars and large open timber trusses on the exterior and interior to create a comfortable and open lodge-like atmosphere. The orange and red color pallet provide the stark contrast that BRS and the owner wanted to make this unique building stand out from the surrounding buildings that typically use a palate of muted earth colors for exterior finishes. Full height stone pillars support a deep overhanging roof over an outdoor patio that has become an outstanding competitive advantage for the company during the spring and summer months. Heavy timber joists support the entry canopy and complete the rustic yet homey feel of this pizza eatery.

Construction of the facility started in the middle of December in 2005 and on May 23, 2006 the 4,800 s.f. restaurant opened it's doors for business. The interior boasts an open kitchen that allows for an easy flow that will enable the desired excellent customer service owners strive for. The dining room, under the large open ceiling trusses, is divided into smaller pods that keep the dining experience intimate for conversation and also has the ability to section off the perimeter spaces as separate dining rooms for private business functions and birthday parties.
