River Quarry

The River Quarry development on Parkcenter Blvd. in Boise, ID is a three building office and retail complex. Building ‘A’ is a single story retail building oriented along the street housing several restaurants and other service uses. Buildings ‘B’ and ‘C’ are both 3-story office buildings along the Boise River, totaling over 100,000 square feet. Designed in the prairie style they feature low sloped roofs and deep eaves with integrally colored CMU exterior shells flanked by tinted glazing that provides sweeping views of the adjacent Boise River and foothills. Pre-cast concrete and E.I.F.S. elements provide a balanced contrast of exterior materials. In the lobby, visitors experience quarry tile floors and fine cherry wood detailing in a two-story vaulted reception space. All of these elements combine to provide a comfortable yet high-tech environment. The River Quarry complex won a Design Review award from the City of Boise planning department in 2002.
